Felsted School pupils took a life changing trip to Uganda this summer, to see first-hand how they have been making a difference to the lives of some of the world’s poorest children through the Teach Uganda charity scheme, which provides vital education to children living near the Bwindi Rainforest.

A team of eight Dauntsey’s biologists and two staff have returned from a fascinating conservation trip to Madagascar. The journey started in a forest site in the north of Madagascar conducting scientific investigations which involved walking through the forest looking for specific groups of animals such as spiders, lemurs, chameleons, birds, frogs and butterflies.

Trail running, ridge walking and rock pool swimming were just some of the activities enjoyed by King’s Ely students during an adrenaline-fuelled expedition to the Lake District.

A trip to Sudan isn’t usually top of the list of destinations for school trips but students and staff from Gordon’s School in Surrey recently spent a week in the capital city of Khartoum.
